Heirloom is the venture of experienced duo Zar and Elena Brooks; who have previously founded Dandelion Vineyards and Zonte's Footsteps. With an aim of preserving the unique old vineyards of South Australia, championing the best clones of each variety and embracing organic and biodynamic practices, the wines from Heirloom consistently impress.
The 2023 Heirloom Adelaide Hills Chardonnay was produced from Heirloom's finest Adelaide Hills Vineyard, to deliver an aromatic Chardonnay with nectarine, mandarin peel, green apple and fresh lychee notes. The palate is lean with impressive fruit intensity, with flavours of stone fruit, apple supported by a line of fresh, lively acidity. A lovely balanced and flavoursome Chardonnay that will have wide appeal.
