95 Points - Stuart Knox | RRP $35
Yangarra Estate is a biodynamic wine producer based in South Australia's McLaren Vale region. The Yangarra philosophy centres around producing wines solely from its single-vineyard estate and the property is devoted to the best grape varieties of the southern Rhone.
Following in the footsteps of hugely popular recent vintages of this wine, the 2019 Yangarra McLaren Vale Shiraz is another impressive red wine offering. The palate offers plenty of blueberries, dark fruits and dark chocolate flavours with well measured oak and subtle spice. Ready to be enjoyed now this is likely to only improve with a few years in the cellar.
"95 Points. Purple colour from core to rim and up the sides of the glass as well. Plums, rosemary and sea-spray aromatics. The palate flows majestically from front to back, light of foot but carrying serious intensity and drive. Structured to accentuate the long and lingering glide of fruit into the finish. So much pleasure now and will provide for many years to come."- Stuart Knox, The Real Review.
