A long-time favourite of ours, the 2022 Lake Breeze Cabernet Sauvignon is an impressive release, which has collected Gold Medals at the 2024 Sydney Royal Wine Show and the 2024 Langhorne Creek Wine Show.
Another delicious Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon from the Lake Breeze, this opens with plenty of lifted black fruits and violet aromatics on this nose. The palate is flavour packed with loads of juicy blackcurrants, chocolate and blueberry flavours that are supported by some quality oak. A wine of effortless power, with a silky texture and impressively long finish, this will be another hugely popular release.
"Made from 94/5/1% cabernet sauvignon/malbec/petit verdot; 20 months in French oak, 30% new. This delivers strong blackcurrant flavours with cedarwood, spearmint and eucalypt flavours attached. It's well scented, well flavoured and well finished, with unobtrusive tannin and a juiciness all the way through, the latter complemented by well-integrated oak. 92 Points. $28.
