Owned and managed by Dr Mike Peterkin, Pierro is widely considered one of Australia's leading Chardonnay makers, and notably produced the first Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon blend in Australia.
The 2024 Pierro LTC is another benchmark example of this famous Margaret River style, which is sure to please the many fans of this hugely popular Margaret River white. Fresh, delicate and vibrant fruit aromas and flavours, this blend of Semillon (50%), Sauvignon Blanc (43%), with a touch of Chardonnay (7%), sees a small amount of barrel ferment that adds a creamy texture. Plenty of passionfruit and citrus flavours on the palate with a subtle hint of cut grass. Another intense, precise and minerally example of LTC with crisp fruit extending to a long finish.
