The 2021 Clyde Park Locale Pinot Noir is made from a range of Pinot Noir clones and soil types, carefully selected from vineyards in Geelong and Regional Victoria.
The wine was fermented separately in smaller, open-top fermenters, with about 20 percent whole bunch. The ferments were then hand-plunged twice a day, to maximise the extraction of tannins and colour.
The result is an early drinking, yet subtly complex Pinot Noir. The palate delivers plenty of bright fresh summer berries and aromatic spices bound with toasty oak. A fantastic red to have on its own, or perfectly paired with grilled salmon or roast chicken.
