The 2025 Rob Hall Gamay is bursting with notes of bright red berries, wild sour cherry, and a subtle spice edge, the palate is light-on-its-feet with silky tannins and a refreshing line of natural acidity. Unpretentious yet expertly crafted, this is all about delivering high drinkability and could be enjoyed with a light chill during the warmer months. A delicious Australian Gamay which we're sure to hear alot more about in the future.
"96 Points. Made with 50% whole bunches and matured in older puncheons and hogsheads. A vivid crimson purple. A very bright bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, rose and aromatic spices. Medium bodied, this fills out nicely on the mid-palate. I like the al dente tannins giving the wine structure and focus. An utterly delicious wine to drink now and over the next two to three years. 13.9% alc. Drink: 2026 - 2029. $40. Screwcap"- Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion.
