95 Points - Gary Walsh
Paringa Estate is one of the jewels of Victoria's Mornington Peninsula wine region, consistently making some of the nation's leading examples of Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
This 2025 Paringa Estate Chardonnay is another complex, flavoursome and impeccably balanced example of Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay that will strengthen the reputation of this esteemed winery. The nose is complex and intriguing, with delicately nuanced aromas of citrus and white nectarine, with appealing sulphide and nutty barrel ferment notes. The wine has good palate weight, racy acid and excellent length.
"95 Points. I think 2025 is shaping up to be an excellent vintage for Mornington. White fruit, citrus, spice and cashew. It sports such clean lines with a light grip to texture, there’s some fresh pineapple in the mix, but in a pleasing juicy way. It has intensity, balance and great length. In short it’s a top vintage for this wine and a thoroughly lovely. Tasted: Feb26 13.5% alc. $55. Screwcap Drink: 2026 - 2035+"- Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
