Storm Ridge Wine is located in the heart of Victoria's picturesque Yarra Valley; a relatively cool climate wine region that is ideal for producing high-quality Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wine.
This 2017 Storm Ridge Pinot Noir is a fantastic example of what the team at Storm Ridge do best; delivering deliciously approachable wines brimming with plenty of varietal and regional character. On the nose is a combination of intense raspberry, plum and blackberry fruit, with a hint of smoked bacon, while the palate is rich and full flavoured, exhibiting fleshy black cherry flavours married with stewed plums.
The palate develops with more opulent black cherry/sweet spicy plum flavours, harmonised by subtle oak treatment, while the wine finishes long and silky with gentle fruit tannins.
