The wines are made at their state of the art winery by the highly acclaimed Darryl Catlin, who previously served as a winemaker at Shaw and Smith for 13 years.
This 2020 Sidewood Oberlin Pinot Noir is a limited release designed to showcase the high quality Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir is capable of achieving. 100% whole-bunch fermented, this has lovely aromas of wild strawberry, rose petal, black truffle and whiffs of funky earthiness and forest floor.
The palate combines flavours of plums, dark chocolate with an alluring fine line of fresh acidity and mineral-like tannins. A Pinot Noir of impressive weight and complexity, this is a delicious short to medium term proposition.
