Delicious Organic Rosé
Tellurian Wines is one of the rising stars of the Heathcote wine region, with the quality of wines continuing to impress. The fruit for the 2019 Tellurian Grenache Rosé was sourced from Tellurian's own vineyard growing in Heathcote's Cambrian soils formed over 500 million years.
Inspired by the light, dry, savoury roses from Provence, Tellurian Rosé combines grenache and shiraz for soft texture and light red fruit flavour, with mouvèrdre and nero d’avola for dry, fresh acidity and savoury influence.
Pale salmon colour with rose hues, this offers fresh aromas of red berry, cranberry, redcurrant that are complemented by savoury, flinty mineral notes. Red berry fruit flavours carry onto the palate and combine with dry, savoury, soft chalky texture. A delicious organic Heathcote Rosé from Tellurian, this offers superb drinking over the warmer months.
The team at Tellurian headed by the highly acclaimed winemaker, Tobias Ansted, produce some of the region's finest examples of Shiraz. Tellurian's Heathcote Pastiche Shiraz is produced from grapes sourced from the Touhey family vineyard that are blended with Tellurian's own estate vineyard.
Tellurian's flagship 'Tranter' Heathcote Shiraz is produced solely from fruit from their own vineyard on Tranter Road, Toolleen, on the western side of the Mt Camel range. The vineyard is planted on the deep, rich, Cambrian soil for which the region is renowned, and we believe this is a major contributor to the flavour intensity and richness of the wine.
Over the past couple of year's Tellurian's wines have received wide-spread acclaim, firmly establishing themselves as a rising star of the Heathcote wine region.
