Paul Scorpo produces some truly superb fruit from his meticulously planted vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula. Scorpo Wines has built a reputation for making some of the Peninsula’s finest examples of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Scorpo's Noirien Pinot Noir is consistently ranked among the region's best value examples of Pinot Noir and the 2023 is again in great form. Bright berry fruit and cherry aromas on the nose with some subtle oak and spice in the background. Dark cherries, mushroom and spices are evident on the savoury palate with silky tannins playing merely a support wine. A wine of wonderful structure and persistence, this is another classy offering from Scorpo.
