Maison Forget-Brimont is an artisan Champagne house based in Ludes, a celebrated Premier Cru village situated in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Established in 1978 by Michel Forget - whose winemaking lineage in the region dates back to the early 19th century - the estate is renowned for its focus on Premier Cru and Grand Cru terroir expressions.
Champagne Forget-Brimont Brut Terroir NV is the flagship non-vintage cuvée of Maison Forget-Brimont, crafted entirely from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards across the Montagne de Reims. Sourced from renowned villages like Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses, Mailly-Champagne, and Verzenay, the wine features a classic blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier, and 20% Chardonnay. To maintain consistency and depth across releases, the house incorporates a substantial 40% to 50% reserve wines into the final blend.
The nose opens with delicate aromas of fresh green apple, white peach, white flowers, and toasted brioche. On the palate, it strikes a harmonious balance between crisp citrus acidity and creamy richness, finishing with subtle notes of hazelnut and stone fruit. Finished with a Brut dosage of 9 g/L, it serves as an elegant aperitif and pairs effortlessly with rich seafood, poultry, or soft artisanal cheeses.
