Long regarded as one of the Mornington Peninsula's leading wineries, Ten Minutes By Tractor always produce some of the region's benchmark cool-climate wines. This 2025 10X Pinot Noir is another high quality Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir from the team at Ten Minutes By Tractor.
The larger part of the 2025 Ten Minutes By Tractor 10X Pinot Noir comes from the family owned Coolart Road vineyard, 'Down the Hill' from the winery itself in Red Hill and a site with a higher clay content which is reflected in the style of this wine, along with parcels from Hunts Road, Capella, Wallis, Paradigm Hill with a dash from McCutcheon, one of the other single vineyard bottlings the estate produce.
A lovely lifted, perfumed Mornington Peninsula with dark fruits, black cherry, spice, and hints of green tea on the nose. The palate offers juicy layers of dark cherry, strawberry and some subtle oak, to this beautifully complex yet approachable Pinot Noir.
"93 Points. At first, this appears all upfront fruit and spice, plush and ripe, and yes, it’s all that, but it unfurls in the glass. There’s a bit more going on. Savoury, supple, fleshy and fuller-bodied with wafts of wood smoke, rooibos, bresaola and twiggy, while the palate is flush with macerated cherries, cleansing acidity and grippy tannins.
