Mesh is the venture of two of Australia's best known Riesling makers; Robert Hill Smith and Jeffrey Grosset. This formidable duo joined forces with the objective of elevating the status of both Riesling and South Australia’s Eden Valley. In a relatively short period of time, Mesh has firmly established itself among Australia's finest Rieslings.
The 2025 Mesh Eden Valley Riesling is green and vibrant in appearance, with zesty lemon and grapefruit aromas. The palate is intense and generous, with lively lime, citrus flavours. The wine finishes dry with refreshing, long acidity. As with all top-line Eden Valley Rieslings, this should develop further complexity with time in the cellar.

This is quite a powerful expression of Riesling, but it retains its fine linear structure that is very much a part of Eden Valley. A touch of bath salts and lemon zest, and then a palate that is both textured and invigorating. "94 Points. A collab between two of the finest wine blokes you could find - Jeffrey Grosset and Robert Hill-Smith. Pale straw in the glass with aromas of freshly squeezed lime juice, green apple and fleshy white peach. Hints of Christmas lily, citrus blossom, crushed stone and lemongrass. There's just a touch of pithy texture, a dab of crème fraîche and a mineral-rich finish that is both sleek and sucking-on-a-river-pebble dry. 12.5% alc, Drink: 2025-2040. "93 Points. Juicy apple, some lime, fennel and floral notes. It’s quite a fleshy expression of Mesh, plenty of apple, chalky texture, slightly creamy even, then a crunch of limey acidity tightens up a finish of good length, closing with some Disprin flavour.
