Sanguine Estate is a family operated boutique vineyard and winery located in the Heathcote region of Central Victoria. Sanguine's Heathcote Shiraz rarely fails to impress and this is another quality release.
As is typical of the Heathcote region, the 2024 Sanguine Estate Progeny Shiraz has a vibrant purple colour. The nose offers plenty blackberry and ripe cherry aromas with an alluring lift of spice and pepper. The palate is typically rich and dense with layers of blackberry and plum fruit with a subtle hint of fennel spice and pepper. Delivering impressive structure and length of flavour, this has a freshness and approachability that makes it ready to go now.
