Turkey Flat are proud custodians of an unbroken line of commitment to Barossa viticulture and wine that stretches back five generations to the planting of their first ‘ancestor’ vines in 1847. A family-owned estate that plays a vital role in the Barossa Valley’s rich cultural heritage, Christie Schulz is the fourth generation of the Schulz family to become caretaker of this remarkable estate.
Turkey Flat consistently deliver wines of great integrity that are consistent expression of Barossa terroir; wines of elegance, grace and refined power. This includes one of Australia's finest Rose's, the ever-popular Butchers Block Red (a delicious blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvedre), while the Turkey Flat Shiraz is a benchmark example of Barossa Valley Shiraz.
Far from hanging their hats on the incredible history of their site, Turkey Flat has a strong evolutionary bent, striving to be innovative and engaging while showcasing the serious fun that imbues the culture of this famous Barossa winery.
