Forester Estate is owned by the McKay family, and is situated on Wildwood Road, Yallingup, in the northern Margaret River region. Established in 2001, Forester Estate is a new generation winery that strives to showcase the distinct regional characters of northern Margaret River fruit.
The 2024 Forester Chardonnay is another high quality Margaret River Chardonnay opening with rich and complex aromas with nutty-cashew oak, peach and creamy lees. There are subtle characters of flint, smoke and straw providing added complexity. The medium bodied palate is soft and rounded with flavours of peach, fennel and pear supported by toasty oak and creamy lees. A Chardonnay of subtle power and complexity this offers plenty of appeal in the short to medium-term.
