Victoria's first vineyard, Yering Station, is located in the 'heart' of the Yarra Valley only one hours drive from Melbourne. As a family-owned winery, Yering Station has been recognised for its commitment to excellence, with their Chardonnay always among Victoria's finest.
The 2025 Yering Station Village Chardonnay is another top-class Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Hand-picked and gently pressed, this is barrel fermented with partial lees stirring adding complexity and richness. With the approachability to be enjoyed now, there's little doubt this quality Yarra Valley Chardonnay will age gracefully with its lovely natural acidity.
"Yering Station consistently delivers the goods at this pricepoint, and this is no exception. Brightly coloured with aromas of stone fruits, yellow apple and just a touch of lemon oil. It's textured through the mid-palate before finishing gently pithy and long. Tick. 93 Points. $30. 13% alc. Drink: 2026 - 2028"- Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion.
"Vintage 2025 in the Yarra Valley was fast paced, a little like the Village Chardonnay from that year. Shows its sunny side early with aromas of yellow peach, nectarine, citrus, flint and light spice. An attractive creaminess across the middle palate is signature Village in league with citrus, ripe stone fruits and a lively spiciness. Nicely integrated with oak, the overall effect is one of a streamlined, bright Chardonnay. Finishes on a zesty high note. 91 Points. $30. Drink: 2026 - 2030"- Jeni Port, Wine Pilot.
