Victoria's first vineyard, Yering Station, is located in the 'heart' of the Yarra Valley only one hours drive from Melbourne. Yering Station is renowned for producing award-winning wines of world-class quality and distinction. Set in a stunning location with breathtaking views, beautifully kept gardens and dramatic architecture, Yering Station aims to offer a holistic wine and food experience.
Yering Station continue to produce some of Australia's leading wines; with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz Viognier and Cabernet Sauvignon always among the standout varieties made at Yering Station. An exciting component of Yering Station is the Yarrabank sparkling wine. Made in the Traditional Method, Yarrabank is now recognised as one of Australia’s top sparkling wine labels.
Signed as a joint venture in 1996 between Yering Station and the Champagne House Devaux, the Yarrabank partnership combines the best in knowledge and expertise with the exceptional quality of cool climate vineyards.
Each year winemakers from Devaux travel to Australia to assist with assemblage, whilst Yering Station winemakers continue to travel to Champagne for September vintage to gain long established sparkling wine education and understanding.
