Chaffey Bros is part of a legion of 'new wave' Barossa producers which was founded in 2008 by brothers-in-laws Daniel Chaffey Hartwig and Theo Engela. Crafting minimal-intervention, site-specific wines from the Barossa and Eden Valleys, their approach focuses on texture and aromatics, with their wines continuing to attract plenty of admirers.
The 2024 Battle for Barossa La Résistance GSM is another superb release, following in the footsteps of the hugely popular 2023 vintage, which was awarded a Gold Medal and declared top GSM blend at the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards
