This 2022 Clos Clare ‘â Côté clos is an Australian Grenache of the highest quality, following in the footsteps of recent vintages of this wine that have proved hugely popular. Bright crimson red in the glass, it offers an abundance of bright red fruits on the nose; raspberry and cherry, roses and spice. The medium-bodied palate is incredibly approachable, with soft red fruit flavours and a fine tannin structure. Well deserving of the high praise it's already drawn, this is a super value Clare Valley Grenache.
"More French names on Australian wines! And boy, they are really going to town on it here. Strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate, brown spices and mint. It’s bright and frisky, a pleasing pumice stone texture, a cranberry crunch gives freshness, and the finish offers good length.
