The Slaughterhouse Paddock Shiraz is one of the winery’s most evocative single-vineyard releases. Sourced from a site that once served as cattle holding yards, this is a quintessential example of Heathcote style; rich, earthy and capable of cellaring for well over a decade.
The 2023 Heathcote Slaughterhouse Shiraz is a beautifully crafted shiraz offering loads of dark berry fruits and cedary oak-derived spices. Subtle hints of black pepper and dark chocolate further assist the palate, creating mouthfeel and viscosity. At the heart of this wine is a concentrated mocha driven core that is supported by gentle tannins creating a truly memorable wine.
