Longhop is the impressive partnership of Domenic Torzi and Tim Freeland; designed to showcase what the Adelaide Plains and adjoining Mt Lofty Ranges regions does best. Sourcing precious old vine "survival plantings" of the 1950's coupled with a non-interventional approach to winemaking, the wines of Longhop are always generously flavoured and packed with personality.
The 2021 Longhop Pinot Gris is sourced from a single site in the small hamlet village of Forreston in the beautiful panoramic Adelaide Hills. Vibrant and fruit driven, this offers plenty of mouth-filling pear, apple, and honeydew flavours with lively acidity providing liveliness and structure. A lovely drinking Pinot Gris with plenty of appeal.
