The 2023 Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay is another impressive Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay from this esteemed producer. Offering classic cool-climate aromatics of white nectarine, peach and grapefruit, with subtle noted of roasted hazelnut. On the palate the zesty drive of citrus compliments the generosity of stone fruit, delivering a focused and vibrant wine.
’94 Points. Always a terrific go-to wine showcasing the peninsula as much as the producer. It’s really juicy and zesty full of citrus and white stone fruit with a sprinkling of spice, lime zest and coriander seeds.
