The 2025 Montalto Pennon Hill Pinot Noir is another impressive example of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir, made from grapes grown on Montalto's sub-regional vineyards including Red Hill (30%), Merricks (10%) and Tuerong (60%).
This is a result of generous vintage, which helped deliver aromas of red and black cherry, sarsaparilla, cherry cola, star anise, along with savoury earthy notes. The palate is refined yet generous boasting cherry, raspberry, blood orange, and chai spice, The ripe tannin and integrated oak is supported by seamless bright acidity to provide a long and savoury finish with classic Mornington Pinot qualities.
