Moorilla Estate is one of Tasmania's most highly regarded wineries and continues to produce world-class wines. Magnificently situated on a mini-isthmus reaching into the Derwent River, it is perhaps best known for being home to the famed Mona art gallery.
Made using a naturally mutated Burgundian clone of the chardonnay grape, the 2021 Moorilla Praxis Chardonnay Musqué is built around a core of classic youthful chardonnay characters; bright, zingy citrus and acidity, with some vibrant muscat-driven complementary notes. The 2021 vintage is a glorious example, with a complex, subtle nose (lemon curd, granny smith apples, pear drops) and a vivid, drink-now palate.
