Best Rosé Trophy - 2020 Clare Valley Wine Show
Mr Mick Rosé has long been considered one of Australia's best value examples of this popular style. The 2020 Mr Mick Rosé has been a hugely popular wine over the past few months on the back of standout performances at a couple of Australia's most respected wine shows.
Awarded a Gold Medal (96 Points) at the 2020 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, it also picked up the Best Rosé Trophy at the 2020 Clare Valley Wine Show.
Made by the team at Tim Adams, this is a bright aromatic Clare Valley Rosé crafted from a blend of Sangiovese, Tempranillo and Grenache. Packed with flavours of raspberries, strawberries, white peach and a touch of lychee, this is a refreshing beautifully balanced Rosé that offers remarkable value drinking at this price.
In addition to the wines under the Tim Adams label, Tim Adams launched the 'Mr Mick' range of wines following the purchase of the famous Leasingham winery. This range is named in honour of K.H Knappstein aka 'Mr Mick'; a legend of Australian wine and a former mentor of Tim Adams. These wines offer fine examples of the varieties Tim and the Clare Valley do best along with some emerging, less conventional varietals.
Some current standouts in the Mr Mick range include their Vermentino, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Cabernet Merlot, Shiraz along with a very impressive Tempranillo - these all offer approachable, flavoursome styles at very reasonable prices.
