Paxton Rose has be one of our most popular Australian examples over the past few years and the 2019 vintage is again destined to be a big hit. This 2019 Paxton Rosé combines Grenache & Shiraz, grown using the Paxton ‘smart farming’ program that focuses on soil health and biodiversity. The bright fruit characters are those of a healthy vineyard. Winemaker, Richard Freebairn, crafted this wine to be crisp, flavoursome and refreshing. A delicious rosé with pretty rose petal notes and refreshing raspberry aromas.
Paxton vineyards are managed using biodynamic farming principles – farming without the use of synthetic fertilisers and pesticides with a focus on promoting healthy, living soils through natural compost preparations.
Wines such as the Paxton AAA Shiraz Grenache and the Paxton The Guesser Cabernet Shiraz, demonstrate the exceptional quality and value for money offered by Paxton Wines, making them a favourite of many red wine drinkers.
"He was not the first person I would have thought of as likely to become involved in biodynamic grapegrowing, but that is exactly what he has done with his own vineyards. Since 2005, they have been farmed using biodynamic practices, and are now certified by NASAA, the nation’s leading organic certifier.”- James Halliday.
