"Fruit for this excellent chardonnay was sourced from several vineyards in the cool southern Karridale subregion. It was fermented and matured in French oak for eight months. Opens with a decent hit of citrus and quince paste plus a little of that pie crust complexity. The palate is a smooth, textured richness with traces of butterscotch and crunchy apple. 93 Points. $29.
