Located in the heart of Western Australia’s renowned Margaret River wine region, Pierro has a viticultural pedigree second to none. Owned and managed by Dr Mike Peterkin, Pierro is widely considered one of Australia's leading Chardonnay makers, and notably produced the first Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend in Australia.
The name 'LTC' is so clearly etched in the history of Pierro and the Margaret River wine industry, that the front label now refers to it as merely as the LTC. It was once the 'Les Trois Cuvées' - for the three varieties found in the blend; Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay while others insist LTC refers to a 'little touch of chardonnay'.
The 2020 Pierro LTC is another benchmark example of this famous Margaret River style, which is sure to please the many fans of this hugely popular Margaret River white. Fresh, delicate and vibrant fruit aromas and flavours, with 12% barrel ferment adding a creamy texture. Plenty of passionfruit and citrus flavours on the palate with a subtle hint of cut grass. Another intense, precise and minerally example of LTC with crisp fruit extending to a long finish.
