Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is located in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula and has long been regarded as one of the region's premier producers.
Scotchmans Hill Pinot Noir has a reputation of consistently delivering one of Victoria's finest Pinot Noirs and the 2019 vintage is again in ripping form. Deep garnet in appearance with a bright hue, the bouquet is ripe and perfumed with an array of scents ranging from dark cherries and plums to spice.
The palate is masculine and complex with dense flavours of red plumes, cherries and spice. This flows through to a sappy and earthy mid palate with a long cedar oak finish. Firm acid and fine grain tannins gives this wine wonderful structure which will allow it to age gracefully over the next 8 to 10 years.
