Located on the western slopes of Mt Camel Range, Tellurian is undoubtedly one of the rising stars of the Heathcote wine region. Tellurian's Marsanne is produced from hand-picked grapes from Tellurian's own vineyard on Tranter Rd, Tooleen; growing in Cambrian soils formed over 500 million-years.
Typically pale gold in colour, this 2021 Tellurian Marsanne is an aromatic wine with plenty of pear, apple and honeydew notes complemented by lifted florals. A medium bodied white wine, the pear, citrus and melon flavours combine with subtle ginger spice. Well balanced acidity providing freshness and length, while some lovely texture and complexity is derived from subtle oak and lees influence. A delicious Marsanne from Tellurian which is an ideal food wine, particularly well suited to Pork and poultry dishes.
