"Very Good Release" - Campbell Mattinson | Organic Rosé
Tellurian Wines is one of the rising stars of the Heathcote wine region, with the quality of wines continuing to impress. The fruit for the 2020 Tellurian Grenache Rosé was sourced from Tellurian's own vineyard growing in Heathcote's Cambrian soils formed over 500 million years.
Inspired by the light, dry, savoury roses from Provence, the 2020 Tellurian Rosé offers fresh aromas of red berry, cranberry, redcurrant that are complemented by savoury, flinty mineral notes. Red berry fruit flavours carry onto the palate and combine with dry, savoury, soft chalky texture. A delicious organic Heathcote Rosé from Tellurian that offers superb drinking over the warmer months.
"Made with Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvedre and Nero. Very good release. Pale copper-orange in colour, dry style, frisky and long. Not a great deal of flavour, in preference of sheer refreshment, but there’s just enough here. This has me reaching for more. 91 Points Tasted: Jul21 12.9% alc. $24 Screwcap Drink: 2021 - 2023" - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.
