Fermentations occurred mainly in puncheons with a single foudre in the mix (15% new). A single parcel matured on lees in tank, whereas the rest remained in wood with occasional lees stirring and partial malolactic conversion. The wine matured for 10 months.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"review-card__note\"\u003e\"93 Points. Chardonnay sourced from five sites across the Tamar Valley. There is no shortage of drive and wonderfully ripe, supple fruit here. Characters of white peach, nectarine and citrus fruits with hints of spiced oatmeal, almond paste, sea spray, apple turnover, white flowers and stone. There's a light textural component - like grapefruit pith - gently making its presence felt, and the palate is tight and stony with a long draw of flavour and a bright, briny acid line that drives things along very nicely indeed.
