95 Points - Jane Faulkner
The Voyager Estate Chenin Blanc vines are some of the original Estate vines planted in Margaret River in 1978. As a result of their age and Voyager Estate's viticultural practices, they consistently produce some of Australia's finest Chenin Blanc grapes.
As is typical of Voyager Chenin Blanc, the 2025 vintage is produced in an early drinking, soft tropical fruit style with great intensity of fruit flavours, balanced by fresh acidity and a hint of sweetness. Tropical fruit flavours of guava and melon with elements of citrus and red apple create a fruit salad style palate. The wine displays some nice fruit weight and texture with an attractive sweetness balanced with fresh natural acidity.
"95 Points. Lots of fine-tuning happening at Voyager Estate, eliminating some wines, improving all the others, including this. Focused, detailed and delicious. Lemon sorbet and preserved lemons. Freshly cut Granny Smith apple and pear skins. It’s savoury with a saline note, texture, too, yet the acidity ensures this is refreshing and finishes convincingly."- Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion.
