The 2022 Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Merlot is a classic, medium-bodied Bordeaux-style blend from Margaret River/ Vibrant and lifted bouquet led by ripe blackcurrant, cassis pastille, and dark plum, accented by subtle dried bay leaf, violet florals, graphite, and seasoned cedar oak. Medium-bodied and energetic with an emphasis on freshness and fruit purity. Layers of dark bramble berries and mulberry unfold alongside savory cocoa and fine-grained, powdery tannins that provide structure without astringency.
