The 2018 Xanadu Estate Chardonnay is another elegantly structured yet complex release the medium bodied palate delivering plenty of zesty grapefruit, stonefruit and white pear flavours. Finishing with a creamy mouthfeel and a clean finish, this is another superb release from the team at Xanadu.
"95 Points. Excellent intensity and length. Green pineapple, stone fruit, steel and cedar wood flavours crash authoritatively through the mouth. No doubting its variety, no doubting its region. There's a piercing aspect to the finish but it brings flavour right along with it. Screwcap. 13% alc. To 2030. $40" - Campbell Mattinson, Halliday Wine Companion 2021.
