95 Points - James Halliday
Established in 1850 by English migrant Frank Potts, Bleasdale remains one of Australia's most loved and acclaimed wineries. This founding Langhorne Creek winery continues to draw high acclaim, including being named 'Winery Of The Year' in the 2024 Halliday Wine Companion.
"95 Points. Langhorne Creek fruit sourced from estate and specialist growers; 51/43/6% shiraz/cabernet sauvignon/malbec, nine months in French puncheons (10% new). This is a slick operation. It's storybook value, impossible to beat at this price. It's a (decorous) fruit bomb with silky tannins and plums, the malbec pulling a stunt with much more to taste than its volume suggests. The score is designed to encourage as many people as possible to give it a go. 13.5% Alc, Drink 2024-2026
