This 2021 Pierro LTCF is a classic 'Bordeaux blend' of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, delivering a Margaret River red wine of impeccable quality, with rich, concentrated varietal flavours and high quality fine-grained tannins.
"94 Points. This is lovely for its restraint and approachability, which makes it very easy to drink. Violets and spice, raspberry leaf and freshly rolled tobacco with a hint of menthol. Barely medium bodied, this is finely tuned with sweet red berries, mulberries and cassis, a smidge of cedary oak. There’s a certain elegance here, a softness to the palate, the tannins fine and feathery, acidity bright and the finish lingers. Gorgeous now and will offer more with age. Screw cap. 13.5% alc. Drink 2024-2034"- Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion.
"93 Points. Medium-bodied, svelte and crisp. Red fruits, some perfume, aniseed, cigar box and spice. Tannin provides a light grainy grip and it finishes long and refreshing. A stylish wine that’s very easy to drink. A lovely expression of Cabernets. Drink 2025-2032+"- Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
