Bondar Wines was declared "A superstar estate, but a down-to-earth one" in the recent Halliday Wine Companion 'Top 100 Wineries of 2025'. Ranked the nations's 29th best winery on this distinguished list, it underlines the big impression Bondar has made since its first vintage back in 2013.
Hailing from one of Australia's premier Chardonnay regions, this 2024 Bondar Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is another ultra impressive release of this much loved wine. Produced from grapes grown in a single vineyard in Echunga, these are hand-picked in the cool of the early morning, whole-bunch pressed and fermented naturally in French oak (approximately 25% new). All barrels were allowed to go through malo until the balance of acidity was spot on. The result is a pristine Chardonnay with the vibrancy, depth and subtle power this wine is famous for.
