The 2022 Yalumba Sanctum Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon opens with lovely lifted aromatics of blueberries, violets, dark berries, cherry and a touch of French oak. The palate is silky and vibrant, with layers of black fruits, cassis, mulberry and dark chocolate, with fine tannins and a long finish. Blackberry and blackcurrant fruits, with hints of roasting meats, sage, clove, spearmint, licorice, crème de cassis and earth.
