Josef Chromy is one of Tasmania's most famous influential wine figures, having owned and developed some of the state's most prominent wineries, including Rochecombe (now Bay Of Fires), Jansz, Tamar Ridge and Heemskerk vineyards. In 2007 he established the winery that would bear his name, which quickly became one of Tasmania's leading wine producers.
Now considered one of Australia's finest sparkling makers, the Josef Chromy Tasmanian Cuvee is a fine non-vintage example. Expressive citrus and green apple notes with toasted biscuit aromas complement a fine creamy texture. A delicious Tasmanian sparkling that is a delight with oysters and other fresh seafood.
