95 Points - Jeni Port
Located in the Nagambie Lakes region of central Victoria, Tahbilk is home to the largest and oldest single holding of the Marsanne variety in the world, with some vines dating back to 1927.
One of Australia's most loved white wines, the 2025 Tahbilk Marsanne is again in fine form and attracting high praise (95 Points - Jeni Port). In its youth, it is fresh, crisp and vibrant, brimming with aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and honeysuckle with a clean mineral finish. A wine celebrated for its distinct transformation as it ages, this will develop further complexity and richer flavours with time in bottle.
"95 Points. So fine, so delicate and just starting its journey. With a liveliness of florals, it smells like spring itself: honeysuckle, white flowers, acacia, green almond, apple and honeydew melon. Zesty fresh, it strikes a lively balance between racy, lemony acidity and a floral, citrus prettiness. Green apple, light florals, grapefruit pith and zest run long and true and crunchy fresh. Looking good for a bright future, should you be thinking of it. Or, open with shellfish now and enjoy. 12% alc. Drink: 2025 - 2035. Screwcap"- Jeni Port, Halliday Wine Companion.
