Longview’s 'Queenie' Pinot Grigio has quickly established itself as one of Australia's most popular examples of this variety. The 2023 Longview Queenie Pinot Grigio is another vibrant and aromatic example with pear, orange blossom and quince notes leaping out of the glass. The palate shows lovely structure with apple, nashi pear and lemon zest flavours supported by a nice line of natural acidity. "Harvested from two blocks, crushed, chilled and whole bunch pressed, fermentation was in stainless steel. The colour here is a very pale lemon. Aromas swirl around – fragrant and elegant. We have notes of very gentle pears, citrus, spices and fresh green apples with crunchy acidity. Nicely balanced, the palate maintains both intensity and refinement finishing with very good length.
