As the first Riesling vineyard planted in Eden Valley more than 175 years ago, Pewsey Vale has long been considered one of Australia’s pre-eminent Riesling makers. Pewsey Vale’s Prima Riesling is an early harvest style of wine made from grapes picked three to four weeks before the rest of the vineyard.
Made in a semi-dry style, this opens with vibrant aromas of lemon blossom, kaffir lime, white cherry, nectarine, and lychee with classic vineyard florals. The palate offers intense citrus, mandarin, guava, and green apple flavours balanced by a high, chalky mineral acidity and an off-dry finish.
