This 2019 Toolangi Paul's Lane Chardonnay is a Yarra Chardonnay of the highest quality; round and creamy, smooth and voluptuous, with a gentle, mouth filling core of flavour and nougat-like complexity finishing with a hint of butter, gentle lemony acids and a faint smokiness. A wine that is already attracting plenty of attention, our limited allocation will not last long.
"95 Points. Pale, youthful yellow colour. Sulfides are clean and clear, just-ripe lemons and cashews, soft, spicy oak. It's a wine of precision and drive - an ethereal, minerally glide on the mid-palate ahead of piercing lemon flesh acidity. It's beautifully put together and oozing class.” #1 of 58 2019 Chardonnay from Australia" - Nick Butler, The Real Review
