Mesh is the venture is two of Australia's best known Riesling makers; Robert Hill Smith and Jeffrey Grosset who came together to to elevate the status of both Riesling and South Australia’s Eden Valley. In a relatively short period of time, Mesh has firmly established itself among Australia's finest Riesling.
The 2023 Mesh Eden Valley Riesling is green and vibrant in appearance, with zesty lemon and grapefruit aromas. The palate is intense and generous, with lively lime, citrus flavours. The wine finishes dry with refreshing, long acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, mesh will age gracefully into a mature wine.
"94 Points. Quite cool and spicy. Lime and lime zest, a little cucumber in tonic water, a slight fennel and lime leaf perfume. It’s tight and crunchy, cucumber rind and quinine, a fine stony grip to it, with a pure and zesty, yet kind of juicy lime and grapefruit flavour to close on a finish of good length and precision.
